Jadeveon Clowney and his long wait are finally over as the Tennessee Titans have landed the best available player in free agency.
It was an eventful night for Jadeveon Clowney as he has been rumored to be talking to the Tennessee Titans for a while. ESPN's Dianna Russini first reported that Clowney had chosen the Titans over the New Orleans Saints.

The news took a quick turn as it may not have been the case just yet. ESPN's Josina Anderson reported shortly afterward Clowney told her he had not made a decision at that point.

The NFL saw Chris Jones, Myles Garrett, and Derrick Henry receiving big contracts.
It was reported Tuesday that the Kansas City Chiefs and Jones agreed on a four-year deal that's worth up to $85 million. The Cleveland Browns followed suit with a five-year, $125 million extension with Myles Garrett. Garrett's deal makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry got in on the action at the deadline Wednesday with a four-year, $50 million deal.

Derrick Henry can be special for the Tennessee Titans, but a long-term deal might not make sense until next year.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday the Titans are not expected to reach a long-term deal with Derrick Henry before Wednesday's deadline.

Tennessee gave Henry the franchise tag in the offseason that will be worth $10.27 million this season. Should a long-term deal not be reached, Henry would play out the tag and become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
Henry has become the workhorse for the Titans in the last two seasons. He's ran for back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons including his 1,540 last...
Last season, five of the NFL teams that made the playoffs in 2018 did not return to the playoffs in 2019.
This is a common trend with playoff teams not being able to repeat in consecutive years. Few teams like the New England Patriots return year after year as teams evolve in different ways. There could be at least four teams though that might miss out this season.

With the 2020 NFL Draft right around the corner, teams are putting the final touches on their draft boards. While this draft will be different, being conducted virtually, there's still the same intrigue. Here's a look at some of the AFC South Draft Notes.Â
Draft Notes: Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville holds 12 picks in 2020, including two firsts (9, 20) and three fourths.
Jags have one winning season (2017) in last 12 years, and there's no end in sight to the rebuild considering the team traded CB A.J. Bouye, DE Calais Campbell and QB Nick Foles to stockpile draft picks.
RB Leonard Fournette could...
The Tennessee Titans have made their decision on who will lead the franchise as quarterback. Hint: it's not Tom Brady.
Ryan Tannehill and the Titans have agreed to a four-year deal that can be worth up to $118 million deal, according to ESPN's Jeff Darlington. A source also told Darlington that the average per year will be around $29.5 million that will include $62 million fully guaranteed.

Four teams remain in the playoffs. Each still have the dream of being one game away from making a Super Bowl appearance in 2020. They have fought through adversity to get to this point whether that be replacing a quarterback midway through the season (Titans), lose their starting quarterback to injury for a few games (Chiefs), a team that has won multiple ugly games (Packers), or an offense that relies more on a running game than their prized quarterback (49ers).
All four have their strength and weaknesses, but all have proven to be the best of the best and will...
Round two of the NFL Divisional Playoffs opens up this weekend with the best of the best going head to head.
Questions will be answered in terms of seeing how Lamar Jackson bounces back from last season's playoff loss as his team heads up the NFL's top spot. Patrick Mahomes has a chance to get back to the AFC Title to finish the job that he wasn't able to do last season against the Super Bowl champ Patriots.
The 49ers are in the playoffs for the first time under coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo; a chance for...
